I commenced selling real estate in 1999, working for one of the larger corporate companies. During that time I was consistently the top office salesperson and achieved many of the corporate awards.
A major change occurred in 2006 when I decided to leave the larger corporate environment and joined David Lawrence Real Estate, a small boutique office, then located in New Brighton Road, close to my previous home in Lake Terrace Road. I further established myself in my local area and proved that working for a small company improved my ability to sell in my local niche market. Every marketing option available to the larger corporate companies is available to David Lawrence Real Estate, plus I have the ability to target market the most likely buyers without company restrictions.
Due to my success in selling, I was constantly approached by other companies wanting me to join their teams. I will however continue to work for David Lawrence Real Estate, where I believe I can provide the best results for my vendors with trustworthy individual personal service and accountability.
To date I have sales in excess of $400 million.
The earthquakes changed many lives dramatically, including my own. From living in Lake Terrace Road for over 30 years, Brenda and I lost our family home to the Red Zone, and David Lawrence lost the office in New Brighton Road to the Red Zone. All salespeople at David Lawrence Real Estate now work from fully operational home offices.
A shift to Woodend to rented accommodation followed the February 2011 earthquake, with a permanent shift to our new home in Pegasus in August 2013. I will forever maintain a strong bond with Burwood, and still concentrate my selling in both the Burwood/Westhaven/Travis Country/Fairway Park areas, as well as the Woodend/Pegasus district.
I look forward to working with you to achieve the successful sale of your property.
